Why the Manger Remains

At the end of 2025, our Student Pastor, Elijah Mire, issued a challenge to us that was authentic—to take something off of Christmas that will remind us all year long why it is referred to as the reason for the season. It's easy enough to put the decorations away and, in the process, put Jesus away with them. But He didn't come for a season—He came for our ordinary life. The manger is displayed because we would rather not hide Jesus in the attic. It reminds us His love, His presence, and His purpose aren't just limited to December but for every time. This small symbol keeps us with Him year-round.
