Supporting Hurricane Relief Through Granger Smith's Ministry

We are grateful for the relationship we’ve built with Granger Smith through our Man Night event, and it has been inspiring to see his heart for ministry continue to shine. Granger’s life, shaped by personal tragedy, has given him a deep compassion for those walking through devastating loss.

With the recent hurricanes causing destruction across multiple communities, Granger has stepped up to make a difference through the River Kelly Fund—a nonprofit established by his family to bring hope and aid where it’s most needed.

Many of you have asked how you can help, and we are excited to support this effort. If you'd like to contribute to hurricane relief, you can donate directly to the River Kelly Fund here:

Being Jesus to the Hurting: Why We Support Others

As believers, we reflect Jesus by showing love to those in need. Whether someone is facing grief, illness, or hardship, we are called to step in with care, offering practical help and encouragement. Galatians 6:2 reminds us to “bear one another’s burdens,” fulfilling Jesus' command to love one another. In the same way, 1 Peter 4:10 tells us to use our gifts to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

Through these actions, we embody God’s compassion, just as Jesus did by comforting the hurting and meeting real needs (Matthew 11:28-30). As part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), our church contributes monthly to pooled resources supporting efforts like disaster relief and outreach. We believe that when churches work together, we can make a greater impact for God’s Kingdom than we could alone.

Thank you for being part of this mission to bring hope and light to those in need. Let's continue asking, "How can I be Jesus to someone today?" and live out His grace through love in action.
