At Choctaw Road Baptist Church, we want our little ones’ first memories of church to be positive.  We want our babies and preschoolers to understand that church is a safe place where they are loved and cared for, and they can have fun with friends.  Once our little ones begin to feel comfortable here, then their little hearts and minds can truly open up to hear about God’s love for them. That is why at CRBC, we strive to greet children with a smile and provide interactive learning through play in a colorful and engaging environment.

On your first visit, you will need to check your child in at our Children’s welcome desk.  Feel free to leave your cell phone number with us in case your child needs you, as well as any allergy or special care instructions.  At the desk, we will get you entered into our system so next time you visit you will be able to use the self check-in system at any one of our kiosks.
  You will print a name badge for your child that includes their classroom name as well as any special care instructions or alerts.  You will also print a parent receipt that you will need to hang on to until you are ready to check your child out.  Please make sure that all of your child’s belongings are labeled with their name.  Parents will check children in/out from their classrooms. Your child’s security is of upmost importance to us.

On Sunday mornings, nursery and preschool Sunday school classes are available during all 4 adult services.  Whether parents plan to attend worship service only, or worship service and a connect group, they can rest assured that their little one with be taken care of and engaged in play and learning about God’s Word. Our preschool curriculum is called “First Look” and it is produced by Orange. Our kids love chapel time where we get to worship God through song, recite our monthly bible verse, and watch an interactive video lesson. Coming to church is so much fun!

CROSSwalk is our Wednesday evening program for 3 year olds – 3rd graders. Our preschoolers love coming to CROSSwalk where we get to worship God through song, recite our monthly bible verse, watch an interactive video lesson, and make a fun craft. Once a month we also have a fun dress-up theme and enjoy a special treat. If you have a little one under 3 years old and you would like to attend worship on Wednesday or a Connect group, nursery is provided.
   

God is blessing us with a thriving, growing preschool ministry.  We are always welcoming new volunteers to join in on the rewarding experience of working with our preschoolers. Whether you are interested in being a greeter, a nursery worker, a lead teacher, or a helper, we have a place for you to serve.  Please be advised that all children’s workers must be given a security background check.  If you are interested in finding a place to serve, please email natalie@choctawroad.com with your questions and preferences for age group and service time.
